Klaudia and I both also have german blogs, which you can find here: http://elenabader.blogspot.com/ and here: http://parelli-kd.blogspot.com/.
Klaudia and I arrived in Pagosa on Saturday. I'm here in Colorado for the first time and I already love it! The countryside is wonderful and on our 6 hour drive from Denver to Pagosa we've already seen a few wild animals like chipmunks, marmots (?), wapitis and a (dead) elk.
I've also been impressed of the huge pastures for the cows. In Germany we're just dreaming of so much space!
The weekend was really nice, Klaudia and I tried out some restaurants (we both love to eat!), ate ice cream, played mini golf - Klaudia won just because of ONE point!! - and yesterday we met our four-legged partners for the next weeks for the first time!
My lease horse is the Quarter Horse mare Lily from Pam Ervin. I already fell in love with her 3 years ago during my Fast-Track, when another girl from the Netherlands had her!
Yesterday we played the 7 games in 7 minutes and she seems to be pretty much the same horsenality as my Quarter Horse gelding Mousey at home: LBI with (maybe?) LBE tendencies.
I'm still living in the german time zone... We've got 8 hours difference! The last days I got up at 5 am, I would never do this at home! ;-)
Now I'm looking forward to the course, it starts in a few hours!!
