Beautiful cow!

They looked at us like "But... this is OUR road!"

Today we had a lot more theory and simulations in "Instructor-Man-Ship"! You can never get enough of it! It's not only important how to handle the different horsenalities, also the humanalities can be really challenging! We had very interesting sessions of that today. ;-)

We also rode our horses today in the arena grande (300 ft?) with Nita-Jo. We did a lot of "relaxing reins" and "steady reins", very useful!

My horse Lily did not feel as much LBI as I thought in the first moment I met her... She felt more like a RBI! But she did really well. She's making many assumptions and that's a big thing I'm going to work on with her within the next days and maybe weeks.
Our relationship has already grown, it's wonderful how she looks at me whenever she sees me.
In the afternoon we've done some Trimming and Farrier Preparation. Even if it's basics, I'm always learning something new in each session! "Never ending self-improvement" and "Good, better, best, never let it rest!" ;-)

We had a 60 % chance of rain today... But nothing happened and it's still very dusty... I wish I could send some rain from Germany to Colorado! We've got lots of it there!
