This is my first post on this Blog, Elena and me share together. She had this great idea to blog as a team but with individual experiences!

Today was a great and very exciting day. Meeting new faces, old friends and we met our horse partners for the course for the 1st time in real.

After a mosey start, we had a fun time, playing minigolf. YES, minigolf can be fun as we turned it to a little competition. The winner will be offered a free icecream. As we both love food and especially icecream, the motivation was there.
At the end I won with only 1 point difference. For sure it was luck and as you might know that does only meen when preparation meets opportunity. My preparation was more on the stylish side and by coincidence. The golf ball matched perfectly to my sneakers......
Anyhow I got a very tasty strawberry/ grapefruit icecream. Yummy.

1st was to meet Linda, the owner of my lease horse "Tesora" a 4 year old andalusian LBE mare, Linda her owner calls her "Tes". It's always nice to meet the "other end of the email". Linda was very nice and told me more about Tes. We both picked up Tes and her buddy from the pasture to have them in the shadow so that Tes and I had some time to know each other and to see, if the saddle which I brought from homw including girth will fit her. Big moment and I was much more relaxed as saddle and girth fits her well.
Tes loves scratches and that's what I did most of the time beside the other 2 principle games Porcupine and Driving game to get to know each other and to leave a good impression for our first contact. She is really fun!!!! Tes is for sale and I am sure, that horse will find lot's of humans, who will love her and willing to buy such a great horse!
I bet you can tell by the photos that both of us had lots of fun when we 1st met.

Later of the day we met Pam Ervin, Heather from Canada who will also join the class and Erin from California. Erin and I spend already several courses and it's great that we spend time again.
I met also Pam in 2010 as she is the owner of Dixie, which was my lease horse for the Fast Track. It was great to meet her again. Big re-union today! Pam will lease 2 of her horses to Elena and Heather.
