Today was already the second day of our course!
We had a lot of fun, our group is awesome!!
The morning started with a session with Pat Parelli, he came to us on horseback (of course ;-) ) and we hat the opportunity to ask him questions.
After that we got our horses and Nita-Jo Rush, our leading instructor for these 4 weeks, explained how we could do all the basic things, e.g. haltering, saddling, bridling and mounting, with excellence. It was a really good session and we all got to know our horses better by doing this.

My horse Lily seems to be pretty Right Brain Introvert while riding Freestyle. On the ground she's a bit more Left Brain, but she assumes a lot and doesn't really listen sometimes. She can switch very quick from Left Brain to Right Brain... Like my horse Mousey in Germany! ;-)
I have to put my focus especially on saddling, bridling and mounting Lily.

In the afternoon we had a lot of very useful theory about "Instructor-Man-Ship" with Nita-Jo Rush and Ann Kiser.
4-Star Senior Instructor Kristi Smith worked with us on our presentation skills on the stage in front of a group. It was very helpful!

And... In the evening we got another wonderful session: This time with Linda Parelli! We had a lot of fun and talked about "What's important for you as a student". Really funny things came out of this! ;-)
