Again a day packed full with learning!!!
We started the day with some simulations including the "Helium stick". It's fun and a great way to get better with any kind of partnership -horses or humans-.

We also had a great time of some kind of teaching simulation scenarios. Very interesting.

In the session with horses the focus was on one rein riding, including riding with one stick and/ or two sticks. It was interesting to do that with a horse you don't know, as 5 of us were on lease horses. Tes did great and I feel her getting better every day. She impresses me a lot as she is a quick learner and has lots of own ideas but she always tries very, very hard to do it right. Our relationship is growing. Reminds me about the Parelli sequences of horsemanship:
  1. Rapport. It's our relationship, the bond
  2. Respect. Is the mental collection
  3. Impulsion. Is the emotional collection
  4. Flexion. Is the physical collection
Tes also took a little water-mud bath in the pond. She was a bit unsure in the beginning about the water. So we did some approach and retreat. Same as you would use for pedestals, tarps, trailers. It was a squeeze from the bottom,
which is even moving and you sunk in. Looked kind of new to me for her.
Once she was in there the 22' rope was too short and she wanted to take a full bath. She lied down, stood-up again, went out of the pond, in again, kneeld down with her forehand, stood-up again. It was so much fun to watch her.

In the afternoon we got involved about the 2-weeks L3/L4 course which will start next monday. Very exciting as well.

Late in the evening there was a dance lesson with Paul who is a dance lesson instructor.
